About US

LAKERIDGE ASSOCIATION

“United in creating a better community”

The Lakeridge Association was established December 26, 1946 as a not for profit corporation.  Lakeridge Association is a not for profit corporation registered with the Colorado Secretary of State. In February of 2020, the IRS granted the Lakeridge Association taxation status as a 501(c)(7) Social and Recreational Club. We are NOT a Home Owners Association (HOA).  Lakeridge Association is a voluntary organization.

Membership is voluntary and open to those persons owning residential property in the re-subdivision of Lakeridge Association, which is part of the Harvey Park Neighborhood in southwest Denver (an easy 30-minute commute to downtown Denver and only 20 minutes to beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater and the Rocky Mountains). *Please see Lakeridge re-subdivision map. Your household property must reside in the boundaries to be eligible for membership.

Our source of income is the annual Dues payment made by those homeowners within the re-subdivision of Lakeridge Association who join voluntarily on an annual basis. The annual membership dues allow our members to enjoy the Lakeridge Association’s year-round amenities as well as recreational facilities and their maintenance:

  • The 9-acre Wolcott Lake, grounds and dock, with non-motorized boats, paddleboards, sailing, swimming and fishing allowed on the lake
  • A 0.6-mile gravel walking path surrounding the lake
  • Abundant birds, fish and urban wildlife
  • Fantastic views of the front-range mountains
  • Covered pavilion, with large patio, barbeque grill, and several picnic tables (reservations accepted for members’ private events which is included in annual dues)
  • Grass common areas, for games or just relaxing, with additional picnic tables
  • Nostalgic playground
  • Tennis and basketball courts (renovation plans in the works for future)
  • Annual Members’ Picnic and BBQ which is generally held in late June (postponed due to COVID19)

Additionally, the length of membership invests the member [i.e., individual property residence] with a percentage of ownership, accrued each year, in the Lakeridge Association’s assets dating back to 1962.
